Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
1 Peter 5:8

If the devil is walking around seeking those whom he can devour, then there must be those whom he cannot devour. Otherwise, the verse would say that the devil walks around devouring.

The devil cannot just walk up to anyone and do anything he wants to do to them. He does roar and tries to intimidate and put fear in us, but when we KNOW who we are in Christ and that Christ lives IN us, we can tell the devil to get lost! The Lion of Judah lives in us (Rev 5:5) and we have the authority to trample on the devil and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us! (Luke 10:19)

The Lion of Judah lives in you and He is greater than the devil who lives in the world! (1 John 4:4) You're righteous with God’s righteousness! (2 Cor 5:21) You're more than a conqueror! (Rom 8:37) Jesus defeated the devil and made a show of him openly! (Col 2:15)

When you hear the roar - speak life! Tell him that you are healed by the stripes of Jesus and all sickness has to leave! No fear, doubt, loneliness, guilt or any other roar! Tell the devil the FACTS!

Many blessings,
Lori Rola
