“Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.”
Psalms 103:5

Youth renewed!  I’m taking it!  But is there more in the Living Word about renewed youth?  Yep!

“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Is 40:31)
Nice! Renewed strength, not growing weary or faint!

Now for an example, from The Living Word.  Gen 12:14 says “When Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that Sarai was a very beautiful woman.”  Do you know how old she was?  She was in her 60s!  Egypt was considered a “heathen nation” and the King could have any women he wanted in his land, but when he saw Sarai, he wanted her because she was so beautiful- in her 60s!

Another example?  Gen 20:2 “And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.”  Now Sarah was in her 90s!  That's another 30 years and she still looks beautiful!  The king of Gerar wanted her also!    Want more confirmation from The Word?

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31) Yes!  There are no age limits on this verse.  Renewed strength, walk and not faint!

“That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.” (Deut 11:21)  Our days will be multiplied and be as days of heaven on earth!  In heaven, we will not grow old and weak and be sick.  Want more?

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree:” (Gal 3:13)  We are redeemed from every curse!!  Getting weak and sickly because we are “old” is a curse and we are redeemed!  When the children of Israel left Egypt, there were no feeble among them (Ps 105:37).  Of ALL the children of Israel that left Egypt, not one was feeble!

Caleb was 85 yrs old when he and his sons fought and took a mountain where giants lived in the promised land.  He told Moses that he was as strong and healthy at 85 as he was 45 years earlier when he spied out the land.  (Joshua 14:11)

“Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.”  (Deut 34:7)   Wow!  120 yrs old and still strong with perfect eyesight!
So take your beauty, strength, and health and live a victorious awesome life!

Many blessings,
Lori Rola
