I remember night after night believing that one day I'd be healed.  I was completely bald and year after year I had hoped and prayed that one day I'd have hair again.  I remember that season and how it seemed like it would never end.  It seemed like the day would never come when I would see His promise to me fulfilled.  I've learned a few things since then in regards to healing, like the truth that you don't have to wait to be healed because it's already in you! The waiting season is still so real to me, though.
Waiting for His promise to you to come to pass may sometimes seem impossible.  There were countless nights when I wanted to throw up the white flag, when I wanted to quit running this race.  The thing is, I didn't quit.  We are told to hold unswervingly to the hope we profess.  I knew my Father had good plans for me.  I knew He would fulfill His promise to me.  Today I have a full head of hair and when I look in the mirror I'm reminded that He is always faithful.
Hebrews 10:23 says, "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."
If you're in a waiting period, then you're in good company.  Abraham had to wait to see Isaac.  Noah built the ark and didn't see the flood until nearly 120 years later!
As a child of God, you know your Father's voice, you know the promises He has spoken to your heart and you can trust Him.  He's a good Father.  Maybe you're in a waiting season, waiting to start your church, waiting for your spouse, waiting for the right job.  Whatever you're waiting for, know that the Lord is at work, and know that He who promised is faithful.
This is going to be an excellent week, friends!
