When you look in the mirror, who do you see?   You should see the same person that God sees.   That's important, because there may be times when our “seer” is off.  We might be looking through carnal (sense and reason without the Holy Spirit) eyes instead of our Spiritual eyes.

“But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are CHANGED
into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”  2 Corinthians 3:18

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory:”  Colossians 1:27

God wants you to see as in a mirror the glory of His Son who is in you by His Spirit.  As you do this, His Word says that you will be transformed from glory to glory or sick to healed, loser to winner!!

We need to stop focusing on ourselves and our own efforts and put our eyes on Jesus!  Begin to behold the glory of Jesus!  The more we look at Jesus who is IN us, the more we will see ourselves differently.

Notice that 2 Corinthians 3:18 does not say anything about “things” that we have to do to be changed.  “For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)   He did it all for us!

“See” yourself in Christ by looking at Jesus and all that He is.   Beholding Him will change us!
