Psalms 107:20

Isaiah 53:5-

Matthew 8:17-
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses

1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, by whose stripes ye were healed

Psalms 103:1-3
Bless the Lord o My soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits;  Who forgives all your sins, who healed all your diseases

For years I hoped for someone to come along and lay their hands on me, and for me to be completely healed.  I remember going to see traveling evangelists and having them pray for me.  I would close my eyes and believe that when I opened them I would have a full head of hair.  I wanted it so badly.  I dreamt of it.  I wanted to wake up without being sick.
I finally learned the truth after 14 years of being sick.  I found out that He already healed me, it's not something I have to wait for, beg for, fast for, or earn.  It's something I needed to receive by faith.  It's something I needed to believe for.  I read through healing scriptures and took them as my own.  My hair grew back and I went off my medication.  The Word healed me.  You know why that is powerful?  Because no one can take it from me.  His Word is hidden in my heart.  The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came to bring life and life abundantly!  Now when the thief comes I know how to fight back.  It's an easy fight, really.  You just have to stand on the Word of God, you have to believe the truth rather than what your body or symptoms may be telling you.
The Word tells us that BY HIS STRIPES you WERE Healed!
The Word Tells us that He CARRIED OUR DISEASES!
The Word tells us that we are forgiven, redeemed, healed, and made completely whole!

The Word salvation in Greek is SOZO (the new testament word salvation) and it literally means: to make new, to protect, to save, to heal, to preserve, to have faith, to make whole, to love, to make joyous, to have control, to worship, to be made pure; everything good that comes from God.

A lot more happened when you received Christ than you might have thought.  You got Sozo'ed.  Healed.  Made new.  Filled with joy.  Don't live short of the blessing that is already yours.  Receive what Christ has purchased for you.  Sozo.
