Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us] because: He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross.
Romans 8:37 & Colossians 2:15

Dogsitting for my son Brandon's BIG doberman pinscher was not fun while on our daily morning power/battle walks. "Stop!" "No!" "Sit!" "Stay!" "Ugg!" "Bad dog!" Yelling his name! Practically choking him with his collar! Nothing worked.

Brandon trained his dog and just happened to be at the house as the dog and I exited for our morning power/battle walk. He decided to walk a little with us to see how our walks were going. It only took about 10 seconds for him to realize that there was a battle and the dog was winning. Then it only took about 1 minute for him to show me that the battle was won! Only one word was needed, “heel”! No more pulling, no more shouting all the other commands, no more tripping over him as he zig-zags all over. "Heel!" The rest of the walk that day and every day since was like night and day.

Many Christians live that way. They think that they are in a battle with satan and that most of the time he has the upper hand. Every day a battle over something. But, the battle is WON!!! God lives IN us! We have the victory! We ARE more than conquerors through Jesus! Greater is He that lives in us than he that is in the world! (1 John 4:4)

One word can finish the pulling: righteous! We ARE righteous with GOD’s righteousness through Jesus! Anytime you feel a battle, quote the living Word: “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Cor 5:21) Say (life and death are in the power of the tongue) the powerful verses above and be victorious!
