Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21

Fall is another time of year when you will hear people talking about “their” allergies. It is also when you will begin to hear about getting the flu shot and things like “Bundle up so you don’t catch a cold”.

Guard your tongue! Before you even get out of bed, say “Good morning Lord, good morning Father, good morning Holy Spirit”. “It’s going to be a great day! I am highly favored! I’m healthy! I feel great! Then get out of bed and act like it. Speak it all day no matter what! Remember “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1)
Speak what you want, not what you are feeling or seeing. Don’t claim anything negative such as “MY allergies”. Instead say, “By His stripes, I am healed and am doing great”.

You also have to guard what you hear. Don’t accept “Death” words. Don’t listen to all the commercials about illnesses and the drugs that you should take to get over them. My granddaughter listens to a song all the time about being careful little eyes what you see, ears what you hear, and mouth what you say. Good advice for all of us!

Speak life and enjoy the fall and winter,
Lori Rola
