Mark 4:35-39
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, let us pass over unto the other side.  And when they had sent away the multitude they took him even as he was in the ship.  And there were also with him other little ships.  And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.  And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow;  and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.  And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

There are a lot of lessons we can learn from Mark 4, one that stands out to me is taking our authority and commanding the storm to be still.  What I have been meditating on, though, is the word Jesus spoke to His disciples before they got on that boat.
You see, before they even got onto that boat Jesus said to His disciples, "Let us pass over unto the other side."
Do you think He said that to them to trick them? "Just kidding guys, I actually knew the storm was going to come and that we were all going to drown!"
How crazy does that sound?  You see, if the disciples would have just thought about what the Lord told them, they would have known they were going to make it to the other side.  They wouldn't have been fearful.
What is the word that Jesus spoke to your heart?  Maybe you're in the midst of the storm and it doesn't look like His word to you is going to come to pass.  Maybe it looks like the word He gave you has died, maybe it looks impossible.
We serve the God of the impossible, we serve the God who brings the dead to life!  We serve the God who does what He says He's going to do!  If He said you will make it to the other side, then no storm will stop you!  Take back the word the Lord has spoken to you and KNOW that He who promised IS faithful!
The storm WILL not stop you!  Death CAN NOT stop you, NOTHING can stop you!
Our God is victorious, that means WE ARE VICTORIOUS!

Don't give up.  You're going to make it to the other side.
