Did you know that Who Jesus was to the disciples, that's Who the Holy Spirit is to you today? In the scriptures, the Holy Spirit is defined as our comforter, our helper, our intercessor, our leader, our guide, our advocate, our counselor and our defense, and our teacher.

John 14:26Amplified Bible (AMP)
26 But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you."

He is all of this to us and wants to help us in our everyday life, but He is a gentleman, so it is our responsibility to invite Him to help us, counsel us, and guide us. Today, I want to encourage you to invite the Holy Sprit to help you with something specific in your life. Maybe ask Him who He would like to be a blessing to through you. Then, ask Him how He would like to be a blessing, what would He specifically like for you to do for that person. Maybe you have been having a specific issue with one of your children that you have not been able to resolve in your own might and power. Ask Him to help you with your children, and ask Him to show you what to do. Maybe it is a situation at work, invite Him to show you exactly what to do. Maybe you have been wanting to understand what a particular scripture in the Bible actually means. Ask Him, as your teacher, to teach you what it means. Ask Him to reveal that scripture to you. There is nothing too big or too small that He does not want to help you with today. As you invite Him to show you what to do, He will, and as you step out in faith to do those things then you will get to see Him work in that situation!
