“As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead, and calls those things which are not as though they were.”
Romans 4:17

It might not be easy to call those things which are not as though they are, but it’s a spiritual law, so do it!

Mark 5:22-43 tells us a story about a ruler of the synagogue named Jairus who fell at the feet of Jesus to ask for healing for his daughter. Jesus went with him to his house but while on the way, someone from the house came and told Jairus that his daughter had died so there was no need to bring Jesus. “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” (vs 36) No fear, no speaking death, no crying, Jesus wanted Jarius to only believe!

When they arrived at the house many were weeping and wailing greatly. Jesus said "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep." (vs 39) Imagine if you were in that room. That child had died and was that way for some time. What would you have thought about Jesus when he said that she was not dead but asleep? Lying? Strange?

Remember Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded (sense and reason without the Holy Spirit) is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Jesus was spiritually minded and saw things that be not as though they were.

“And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he took the father and the mother of the child, and them that were with him, and entered in where the child was lying.” (vs 40) Jesus put them out! He had to get rid of ALL the unbelief!

Jesus told the young girl to “arise” (vs 41) and she arose, and walked.
If it is in the Word then you can speak it and believe even if you can’t “see” the end results yet.

Many blessings,
