Have you ever said “I’m trying to be strong”? Well, we are to “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might”, not try to be.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” (Eph 6:10) Notice, it doesn't say that you have to be strong in yourself. Great news! Jesus did it all! Every Time you feel tempted to “be strong” and “overcome” with your own strength, tell yourself that the work is already done and that you're strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might! Might in the Greek means to have the ability to perform. It also means to have power through God’s ability. That’s awesome! God’s power and ability!

Jesus came to destroy, to loosen, dissolve, and undo the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8b) We have His victory. We are more than conquerors. (Rom 8:37) We have the power of his might!

Be blessed strong one,
