Strong KneesThursday, January 5, 2017
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.
As I was walking into the gym this morning, I heard in my heart "Knobby knees."
AT THAT moment I rebuked the phrase and began to thank the Lord for my strong, perfect knees!
In middle school, I was VERY tall. A bit awkward I'd say. Picture this: A 5'9 7th grader with a wig and no eyebrows...YIKES. Nonetheless, we had this awesome janitor at the school I went to that would call me Knobby Knees. He did it in a friendly, loving way, and at the time I didn't mind at all!
In college, though, those words spoken over me caught up! I tore my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus. My knees have been sore lately but I usually choose to just ignore it.
This morning, though, the Lord brought back to my mind Knobby Knees. I quickly rebuked those words and claimed my healthy strong knees.
You see, words have GREAT POWER. Be careful what you allow people to speak over your life!
I declare today that you are STRONG, HEALTHY, and IN SHAPE! You are blessed and highly favored by GOD! Every part of your body functions perfectly in the name of Jesus!
Your body is subject to the authority of God in you. You do not have to live with pain, sickness, or disease. You can live victoriously. Speak life!
