Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Do you find that you are always trying to defend yourself, in your mind or out loud? Whenever someone addresses you, are you on guard? When someone is upset with you or does not like you, do you dwell on it? Some people might never like you. They don’t want to see your point of view. Maybe someone is trying to make you look bad. Whatever the situation is, if you find that it is the center of your thoughts and troubling you, that's your red flag.

“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord DELIVERS him from them ALL” Psalms 34:19 “So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you AND help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” Isaiah 41:10. That's just two verses in the living, alive, powerful Word of God. The creator of the universe will defend you! So do not fret or be anxious about anything! Pray and thank God that He DOES have the situation and He will defend you.

Pray for that person. The Ephesians 1:17-22 prayer is a great place to start. Pray for a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God. That the eyes of their heart and mind will be opened towards God. That they will know how precious they are to Him. This might not seem like the natural thing to do but it is what God says to do and you can be sure that you will be blessed. “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!” Matthew 5:44.

Be at peace and dwell on the good things!
