Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

The Test

True, honorable, right, pure, lovely, good repute, any excellence, anything worthy of praise.  I love this!  It makes life simple.  Whatever I’m thinking about, if I’m not sure if I should be or not, I put it to the test.  Is it true? Honorable? Right?  Any excellence? Anything worthy of praise?
The last two are the one’s that usually settle the matter for me.  Answering them really clears it up in my mind and spirit.  No excellence, nothing worthy of praise, then don’t be thinking on it. Instead, turn it around and start praising and talking to God about whatever it was and the victory is yours.   And how awesome, I’m quoting The Word, which is alive and powerful, to get my answer!

Memorize the test.  It’s only 8 things.  Knowing how to think about people or situations has never been so easy.

Be blessed,
Lori Rola
