Romans 3:20-25
"For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands.  The law simply shows us how sinful we are.  But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.  And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.  Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous.  He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin.  People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood."

Instead of talking about sin, let's talk about righteousness.  Jesus Christ died and rose again, and when He did He took our sin upon Himself.  Now when God looks at us He sees us as righteous!
If we look at ourselves as sinners, then what did Christ die for?  We are no longer sinners, we are now righteous through Christ.  When we put our faith in Him, we're saying that we believe that He died and took our sin!
We can not keep the law, the only one who could do that was Jesus.  We just have to put our trust in Him.  Our righteousness isn't based on our performance, it's based on His.

Instead of talking about sin, talk about righteousness.  Talk about how our Lord and Savior not only took our sickness upon His own body, but He also took our sin!

Be blessed,
Ally
