Psalms 91:5-11
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

The world seems to be getting darker.
Many people are jobless, homeless, and worst of all, hopeless.

What about us, though? What about the believers?
John 17:16 tells us that we are not of this world. We may be living in the world, but we do not have to live like them.

We can live free from fear (Psalm 91, 2 Timothy 1:7)
We can live in health (Isaiah 53:5, Psalms 103:1-3)
We can live in abundance (John 10:10, Phillippians 4:19)
We can live righteous (2 Cor 5:21)

We do not have to live in fear, we have a God who protects us.  Psalms 118:6 says, "The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.  What can mere mortals do to me?"

In the midst of the darkness, we can rejoice.  We have a God who has not only supplied all of our needs but Has even given us the desires of our heart.

Our lives should look completely different from the worlds.  We are the light, darkness must go when we enter a room.

Don't let fear creep into your life.  You're protected (Psalms 91).
